Ice production
To produce flake ice, the rotating blade of an Archimedean screw scrapes the ice from the inner surface of a vertical cylindrical stainless steel evaporator and then moves it into an ice crusher, which processes it and reduces the residual water content. Flake ice is used at just below 0 °C with a residual water content of 25%.
The possible uses range from the presentation of food on ice to the preparation of numerous types of cocktails, as well as use in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and for therapeutic use in wellness centers.
Fresh water connection
The ice cube machine requires a fresh water connection. A 2.0 meter long hose is included, which can be connected to a G 3/4″ tap.
