To achieve a perfectly shiny surface on glassware and cutlery, you can also use partially demineralized water. It's also an excellent method for combi steamers, as it removes not only calcium and magnesium compounds but also all other salts that would otherwise cause deposits on the steamer's glass door. Partial demineralization is a more economical process than complete demineralization.
