The box-shaped induction hob hoods are constructed from robust stainless steel and are fully welded. All cut edges are protected by hems and rounded to remove burrs. They are made of chromium-nickel steel (material no. 1.4301), ground on one side (320 grit) and coated on one side with plastic film for protection during transport and installation. The inner body of the hood is designed as a containment and extraction chamber for sudden bursts of vapor.

The chrome-plated grease drain ball valve with internal thread is located at the deep-drawn outlet of the grease/condensate collection channel.

The separator is wear-free, flame-retardant (filter type A) and suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
