All Baron 700Q series kettles are indirectly heated. Water is supplied via a solenoid valve and drained via a 2" drain tap. A control light indicates the water level within the double wall. The electric models are heated by armored heating elements inside the double wall. Gas models have burners located below the bottom of the kettle.
