The play tower features 68 mm x 68 mm thick solid wood posts, which provide support for the gable roof. The base area (base tower) of 107 cm x 107 cm and the ridge height of 291 cm are a testament to its quality. Nordic spruce from the far north of Europe is the raw material for this quality. Due to the harsher climatic conditions there, the wood grows slowly and forms closely spaced annual rings, making the spruce harder than Central European softwood. The four posts of the base tower are secured to the ground using swing anchors.
