Description
The DrumRoll V-02 shock-pulse vacuum massager was developed by specialists at the Czech-Ukrainian company Alvi Prague. This is the first budget-friendly solution in Ukraine in the field of device-assisted physiotherapy. The device combines three functions at once: vacuum, high-frequency pulses, and infrared heating. Unlike previous models, which belonged to the premium segment, the proposed shock-pulse vacuum massager can be purchased by a large aesthetic medicine clinic or an elite spa salon, as well as a recently opened beauty salon.
Advantages of the device
The English term drum roll is translated into German as drum roll, which is related to the operating principle of this device, namely high-frequency impulses on the skin and its deeper structures.
The operating principle of the device
At the heart of the physiotherapy effect is a multifunctional handpiece connected to the device body via a pneumatic cable and a control cable. The silent Vacuum Pro vacuum compressor creates air thinning in a specific zone of influence. The pressure in this area varies from 150 to 620 mm Hg (at a rate of 760 mm Hg). Importantly, the pressure is not only constant but also decreases slightly at a frequency of up to 15 strokes per second. This creates the actual drum roll, which the device's name suggests.
High-frequency vacuum skinfolding creates agitation of the tissue. According to the law of hydrodynamics, the contents of capillaries, lymphatic vessels, and intercellular substrate flow either to the low-pressure zone or back. The high traction frequency makes the procedure completely painless for the patient.
Not just massage – but additional influencing factors
In addition to vacuum massage, the device uses pulses of a specific intensity and frequency, along with infrared heating, to target the body's surface. It's a miniature infrared sauna. The handpiece provides heating in the range of +33°C to +50°C, which in turn makes the procedure more comfortable. The device operates in tens of modes, which can be selected depending on the location of the impact and the patient's specific problem.
Thermal vacuum massage modes
The DrumRoll V-02 can be operated in either fully manual or programmable mode. In the latter case, the beautician's task is simply to move the handpiece over the problem area. All other processes occur automatically. The shock-pulse massager kit includes a functional handpiece that can be used on all body parts and skin types. This simplifies the beautician's work and reduces equipment costs.
Healing effect of the device
Vacuum massage, electromagnetic impulses and infrared heating offer comprehensive:
- deep stimulation of the epidermis and dermis, muscles, nerve endings, vessels and capillaries;
- the polarization of the molecules of the intercellular fluid and the cell cytoplasm;
- Increasing the permeability of cell membranes and thereby improving gas exchange and metabolism in tissues;
- Activation of ATP synthesis;
- accelerated regeneration of the protein matrix (nuclear matrix);
- Lipolysis.
The infrared heating raises the temperature in the affected area to 42-50°C and toxins and metabolic products are intensively excreted through the pores and ducts of the sweat and sebaceous glands.
Comfort and safety
The shock-pulse vacuum massager uses the patented drum nozzle handpiece, which requires no conductive fluid or other cosmetic hardware for warming up. During vacuum massage, the handpiece glides easily and freely over the skin without disturbing the patient. Even when working on delicate body areas, the patient is virtually unnoticeable from the frequent shock pulses. There are no bruises or microtraumas on the skin's surface.
Get up and go!
An accompanying massage warming provides the skin with a pleasant warmth, eliminating the risk of burns. The "surge et vade" (get up and go) principle is applied when operating the shock pulse device; massage procedures do not require any special preparation or recovery. In patients with very thin, sensitive skin, slight hyperemia may occur, but this will disappear very quickly.
The handpiece for performing the shock-pulse massage was designed with the anatomical features of a cosmetologist in mind. Therefore, even long-term use of this device does not lead to the onset of carpal syndrome, which many cosmetologists suffer from.
Results of treatment
The shock pulse vacuum massager provides a cumulative effect.
The patient sees the result immediately after 1-2 procedures:
- the area and volume of fat deposits are reduced;
- cellulite decreases;
- the skin relief is normalized;
- the swelling disappears;
- turgor and muscle tone are increased;
- the skin wrinkles are smoothed out.
Improving blood flow through venules and arterioles restores a healthy color to the skin. Neurological and post-traumatic pain are also reduced.
Indications
Shock pulse vacuum massagers are indicated for the treatment of the following conditions:
- photoaging of the skin;
- sagging skin and wrinkles;
- chronic skin fatigue as a result of a sedentary lifestyle or inadequate care;
- Edema of various origins;
- venous insufficiency, lympho- and hemostasis;
- excess subcutaneous fat and cellulite;
- Myalgia and neuralgia of various origins.
The shock pulse massager helps both mothers after childbirth and patients who have gained weight due to hormonal disorders or malnutrition to lose weight.
Contraindications
In some cases, shock-pulse vacuum massage should not be used. The list of contraindications includes:
- chronic inflammatory skin diseases in the acute stage;
- Attacks of herpes and similar viral infections;
- acute infectious diseases;
- chronic systemic diseases in the acute stage;
- Skin neoplasms of any etiology.
Shock-pulse vacuum massagers should be used with caution in individuals with very thin, sensitive skin, especially those suffering from rosacea. Absolute contraindications include cancer, congestive heart failure, and epilepsy.
Technical specifications of the DrumRoll V-02 vacuum massager
The body of the massager measures 380 x 447 x 335 mm (W x H x D). The device can be placed on a tabletop or on a mobile stand. It weighs 4.6 kg (9.8 lbs). A universal handpiece is included. The touch panel with an intuitive user interface provides settings and controls for the vacuum massage. The device operates on a 220-240 V household power supply at a frequency of 50 Hz.
The vacuum compressor performs the main work during the shock pulse massage and therefore consumes up to 160 watts. In the shock pulse vacuum therapy segment, the DrumRoll V-02 is one of the most cost-effective devices.
