Which muscles do you train on a treadmill?
The focus is on the leg muscles: thighs, calves, and glutes actively engage with every step, providing propulsion and stability. Depending on running style, speed, and incline, different muscle stimuli can be applied – for increased strength and endurance. The core muscles are also engaged, particularly the abdominal and lower back muscles. They ensure a stable posture and compensate for the natural movements during running.
