EXTENDED INFINITY SYSTEM (EIS)
The Delphi-X Observer™'s Enhanced Infinity System (EIS) consists of 10x25 mm super-widefield eyepieces (SFWF), 60 mm high numerical aperture parafocal lenses, and a 200 mm focal length. The 200 mm focal tube reduces the angle of light rays passing through the optics, significantly improving chromatic aberration correction and contrast. The larger diameter lenses allow for considerably larger numerical apertures, enhancing the overall resolving power of the optical system. For all these reasons, the Delphi-X Observer™ delivers outstanding optical performance for the most demanding applications.
PLAN ACHROMATIC ICE LENSES
(Routine clinical applications)
The Delphi-X Observer™ comes standard with plan achromatic infinity-corrected 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 20x/0.40, S40x/0.65 and S100x/1.25 EIS lenses.

DIASCOPIC LIGHTING
Two Köhler illumination systems are available for the Delphi-X Observer™ microscope:
- Adjustable diascopic intensity 3W NeoLED™ Köhler illumination with internal 100-240V power supply
- Adjustable diascopic intensity, 100 W halogen Köhler lighting with internal 100-240 V power supply
The diascopic halogen illumination comes with two push-in/push-out neutral density filters to uniformly attenuate the light intensity for all types of samples, and with a daylight filter. The diascopic NeoLED™ illumination comes with a diffuser filter.
LIGHT INTENSITY MEMORY FUNCTION
LIM (Light Intensity Memory function) automatically saves your preferred brightness while the magnification is changed. You no longer need to adjust the lamp brightness when changing magnification. This allows your preferred brightness to be maintained at every magnification, significantly improving user efficiency and reducing eye strain. Standard on all models with a motorized objective turret; for other models, see the ordering guide below.
Ordering information for automatic light intensity memory function. Example: Model DX.1153-PLi = DX.1153-PLi / LIM, but with automatic light control.
NEOLED™

The innovative NeoLED™ design is a combination of a custom LED and a specially developed thin, short focal length lens to achieve three main benefits:
- More oblique light can be captured by the LED light source, which significantly increases the light output.
- Less energy is needed to achieve this light intensity.
- The larger aperture of NeoLED™ allows the optical system to produce higher resolution images that are very close to the theoretical diffraction limit of the optics.

IC ARE SENSOR
The unique iCare sensor was designed to prevent unnecessary energy loss. The microscope's illumination switches off automatically as soon as the user moves away from their position.
CARRIER HANDLE
The integrated carrying handle on the back of the microscope ensures safe transport, and the integrated tool and holder ensure that the right tool is always available.
