EYEPIECE
With an extended field of view of 22 mm, the Achios-X Observer proves its usefulness by reducing the need to move the pattern across the table, which is highly valued in demanding applications.
HEADS
An impressive number of heads to choose from:
In addition to the standard Siedentopf trinocular with a 30° inclined tube, there is the optional ergonomic, inclined head (0° - 35°), the face-to-face double head, and last but not least, multi-head systems with 2, 3, or 5 heads.
OBJECTIVES
The Achios-X-Observer comes with infinity-corrected achromatic plan, plan-phase or plan-semi-apochromatic EIS lenses, is 60 mm parfocal and has an M25 mounting thread.
TABLE
The Achios-X Observer comes complete with a generously sized, hard-coated, frameless mechanical stage, carefully designed for enhanced safety. This stage is free of sharp edges protruding from the sides of the microscope, ensuring a safe and worry-free experience. It accommodates two slides and allows for one-handed slide placement.
FOCUS
Coaxial coarse (37.7 mm per turn) and fine (0.2 mm per turn) adjustment.
Graduation 0.002 mm. Range 30 mm

Experience the ease of an intuitive five-position or optional six-position lens turret on ball bearings, equipped with a grip ring for effortless operation and precise rotation.
LIGHT AND COLOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The Achios-X Observer introduces Smart Light Control. This intelligent feature saves the light intensity for each lens. The color temperature of the NeoLED light source can also be adjusted and saved. This innovation not only increases convenience but also saves valuable time during routine magnification changes. The environmentally friendly NeoLED light source is both eco-conscious and designed for longevity.
CSS – Cable Storage System
Allows the user to easily stow excess cable length in the back of the instrument during operation and to coil the power cord for easy storage.
CARRIER HANDLE
The integrated carrying handle on the back of the microscope ensures safe transport of the microscope.
NEOLED
The innovative NeoLED™ design is a combination of a custom LED and a specially developed thin, short focal length lens to achieve four main benefits:
- More oblique light from the NeoLED™ light source can be captured, which significantly increases the light output.
- Less energy is required to achieve this light intensity.
- The larger aperture of NeoLED™ allows the microscope's optical system to produce higher resolution images that are very close to the theoretical diffraction limit of the optics.
- Extremely long service life, up to 50,000 hours nominal, L70 standard
