Harvia Infrared Full-Spectrum Emitter incl. Harvia Infrabox-IRB-S

Experience the infrared full-spectrum emitter - your perfect partner for a relaxing and revitalizing light shower. With a power of 350 watts, this emitter is immediately ready for use and does not require long preheating. Thanks to the integrated reflector, the infrared radiation is evenly distributed, ensuring that all illuminated body parts receive the same effective treatment. The special filter glass made of triple-fired glass ceramic minimizes unwanted thermal stress on the uppermost skin layer, allowing you to enjoy the warmth comfortably and safely. The full-spectrum emitter uses all three types of radiation, so you benefit threefold: In addition to warming the skin surface, it also provides genuine deep heat that reaches your muscles and works from within. The proportions of the different types of radiation are approximately 9% A, 57% B, and 34% C. The Harvia infrared emitter is controlled via the Harvia Infrabox IRB-S. The Infrabox is a versatile, modern, digital control for infrared emitters.

• Energy efficiency (infrared mode): Infrared operation consumes significantly less electricity than heating an entire traditional sauna. Our Harvia emitter is immediately ready for use and does not require long preheating.

Properties and production of thermowood:

During thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. The wood's ability to absorb water is greatly reduced, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria thus lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except base feet, window and door frames, gable boards, and terrace boards in the outdoor area) are supplied from Nordic thermowood.

Thermotreatment gives the wood a uniform, brown color, which greys under UV radiation like all other woods. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative glaze nonetheless.
