Harvia 20 PRO Wood-Burning Stove:

Thermo wood:
During thermo-treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. This significantly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria thus lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood.
All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except sauna benches, windows, doors) can optionally be ordered in Nordic thermo wood.
