New: Black Series from Gartenhausfabrik

This barrel sauna is part of the new Black Series from Gartenhausfabrik. The glazing of this barrel sauna consists of high-quality fully mirrored glass. The mirrored glass offers a unique experience: observe the surroundings while enjoying a sauna bath – undisturbed, of course, because the mirrored glass prevents any outside view. In addition, the impressive mirrored glass gives your sauna a very high-quality and modern look. The barrel sauna can be delivered either as a kit or fully assembled from the factory. If the sauna is ordered as a kit, the scope of delivery includes a high-quality special sauna thick-layer glaze in black. The color treatment must be carried out on-site. If you choose the factory-assembled version, the sauna will be pre-finished by us at the factory in black and delivered already painted.

Properties and production of thermowood:

During thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius, excluding oxygen. This significantly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria thus lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except support feet, window and door frames, gable boards and terrace boards in the outdoor area) are supplied from Nordic thermowood.

The thermowood treatment gives the wood a uniform, brown tone, which, like all other woods, grays under UV radiation. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative glaze anyway.

How is a barrel sauna delivered?

You have the choice to order our barrel saunas as a kit for self-assembly or already fully assembled from the factory.
Delivery for both variants is made with a 40t truck with a forklift. Unloading takes place on-site at the curb.
Please note that we cannot handle the transport to your garden for an already assembled sauna.
We therefore recommend arranging a crane or wheel loader for further transport to your garden.
