Barrel Sauna Model Bus 160 Standard
Our exclusive Barrel Sauna Bus series, with its square design, offers a particularly generous amount of space and headroom for saunas. Due to its rounded shape, it retains the appearance and characteristics of a barrel sauna. The sauna barrel can be ordered in natural spruce or high-quality thermo pine. For the sauna stove, you can choose between a wood-burning stove and an electric stove. Due to its small dimensions, this barrel sauna is ideally suited for small gardens.

Properties and production of thermally modified wood:
During thermal wood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius, excluding oxygen. This significantly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, thus depriving wood-degrading fungi and bacteria of their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts (except door frames, window frames, feet, and roof panels) are supplied in thermally modified wood.
- particularly long durability
- resistant to rot
- reduced swelling and shrinking behavior
- reduced splintering and cracking
- the wood remains very dimensionally stable
- improved load-bearing capacity
- water absorption is significantly reduced
Thermal wood treatment gives the wood a uniform, brown color, which grays under UV radiation like all other woods. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative stain anyway.
