Our exclusive Icon barrel sauna series offers plenty of space and headroom for sauna bathing thanks to its square design, while maintaining the look and characteristics of a sauna barrel due to its rounded shape. For the sauna stove, you can choose between a wood-fired stove and an electric stove. Due to its compact dimensions, this barrel sauna is perfect for small gardens.

Properties and production of thermowood:

During thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. This greatly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except door frames, window frames, roof panels, and foundation beams) are supplied in Nordic thermowood.

The thermowood treatment gives the wood a uniform, brown color, which, like all other woods, grays under UV radiation. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative stain.

How is a barrel sauna delivered?

You have the choice of ordering our barrel saunas as a kit for self-assembly or pre-assembled ex-works.
For both options, delivery is made by a 40t truck with a mounted forklift. Unloading takes place on site curb-side. 
Please note that we cannot transport an already assembled sauna into your garden.
We therefore recommend that you arrange for a crane or wheel loader for further transport into your garden.
