Our exclusive Icon barrel sauna series offers plenty of space and headroom for sauna bathing with its square design, while retaining the look and characteristics of a sauna barrel due to its rounded shape. For the sauna heater, you can choose between a wood-burning stove and an electric heater. Due to its compact dimensions, this sauna barrel is perfect for small gardens.

Properties and production of thermowood :
During thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius, excluding oxygen. This greatly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria thus lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except door frames, window frames, roof panels and untreated / natural foundation beams) are supplied in Nordic thermowood.

The thermowood treatment gives the wood a uniform, brown tone, which grays under UV radiation like all other woods. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative glaze anyway.
How is a barrel sauna delivered?
You have the choice of ordering our barrel saunas as a kit for self-assembly or already pre-assembled ex-works.
Delivery for both variants is made with a 40-ton truck with a mounted forklift. Unloading takes place on site curb-side.
Please note that for an already assembled sauna, we cannot take over the transport into your garden.
We therefore recommend that you arrange for a crane or wheel loader for further transport into your garden.
