The glazing of this barrel sauna consists of high-quality darkened glass with a mirror effect. The mirror-effect glass offers you a unique experience: observe the surroundings while enjoying a sauna bath - almost undisturbed, because the mirror glass allows fewer glances from outside. In addition, the impressive mirror-effect glass gives your sauna a very high-quality and modern look. The barrel sauna can be delivered either as a kit or pre-assembled from the factory. If the sauna is ordered as a kit, the scope of delivery includes a high-quality special thick-layer sauna glaze in black. The color treatment must be carried out on-site. If you opt for the factory-assembled version, the sauna will be pre-treated by us at the factory in black and delivered already painted.

Properties and production of thermo wood:

During thermo wood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. The wood's ability to absorb water is thereby greatly reduced, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria thus lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except bases, window and door frames, front boards and terrace boards in the outdoor area) are supplied from Nordic thermo wood.

Thermo wood treatment gives the wood a uniform brown tone, which, like all other woods, grays under UV radiation. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative glaze anyway.
