The glazing of this barrel sauna consists of high-quality darkened glass with a mirror effect. The mirror-effect glass offers you a unique experience: observe your surroundings while enjoying a sauna bath - almost undisturbed, as the mirrored glass allows fewer glances from outside. In addition, the impressive mirror-effect glass gives your sauna a very high-quality and modern look. The barrel sauna can be supplied either as a kit or fully assembled ex works. If the sauna is ordered as a kit, the scope of delivery includes a high-quality special thick-layer sauna glaze in black. The color treatment must be carried out on-site.

Properties and production of thermowood:

During thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. This significantly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria thus lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except base feet, window and door frames, end boards, and outdoor terrace boards) are supplied in Nordic thermowood.

The thermowood treatment gives the wood a uniform, brown tone, which, like all other woods, will turn gray under UV radiation. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative glaze.
