Properties and Production of Thermowood :
During thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. This significantly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood.

Thermic wood treatment gives the wood a uniform, brown color, which greys under UV radiation like all other woods. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative stain.
How is a hot tub delivered?
Delivery is made by a 40t truck with a mounted forklift. Unloading takes place on site at the curbside.
Please note that we cannot transport it into your garden.
We therefore recommend that you arrange for a mobile crane or wheel loader for further transport into your garden.
