Properties and production of thermowood:

In the thermowood treatment process, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. This significantly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria thus lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood.

Thermowood treatment gives the wood a uniform brown tone, which, like all other woods, will gray under UV radiation. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative glaze anyway.

How is a hot tub delivered?

Delivery is made by a 40t truck with a mounted forklift. Unloading takes place on site at the curb.
Please note that we cannot transport it into your garden.
We therefore recommend arranging for a mobile crane or wheel loader for further transport into your garden.
