Our exclusive standing sauna barrel model Mait offers plenty of space and headroom for saunas with its round design and is also a real eye-catcher in any garden. You can choose between a wood-fired or electric sauna oven. The sauna barrel is delivered standard with a full-glass door, which guarantees you a perfect view of your garden.

Properties and production of thermowood:

During thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. The wood's ability to absorb water is greatly reduced, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria lose their food source, which increases the durability of the wood.

Thermowood treatment gives the wood a uniform brown tone, which grays under UV radiation like all other woods. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative glaze anyway.

How is a barrel sauna delivered?

You have the choice of ordering our barrel saunas as a kit for self-assembly or already pre-assembled from the factory.
Both variants are delivered by a 40t truck with a forklift. Unloading takes place on-site at the curb.
Please note that we cannot transport a pre-assembled sauna into your garden.
We therefore recommend that you arrange for a crane or wheel loader for further transport into your garden.
