Our exclusive standing sauna barrel Model Tom offers plenty of space and headroom for sauna sessions thanks to its round design and is also a real eye-catcher in any garden. All wooden parts are made of high-quality Nordic thermowood, which guarantees long durability. The sauna barrel is supplied as standard with a full glass door, which guarantees you a perfect view of your garden. Due to its small footprint, the sauna barrel is perfect for small gardens, balconies, or roof terraces. New: Black Series from Gartenhausfabrik This barrel sauna belongs to the new Black Series from Gartenhausfabrik. The glazing of this barrel sauna consists of high-quality darkened glass with a mirror effect. The mirror-effect glass offers you a unique experience: observe your surroundings while enjoying a sauna bath – almost undisturbed, of course, because the mirror glass allows fewer glances from outside. In addition, the impressive mirror-effect glass gives your sauna a very high-quality and modern look. The barrel sauna can be delivered either as a kit or fully assembled ex-works. If the sauna is ordered as a kit, the scope of delivery includes a high-quality special thick-layer sauna glaze in black. The color treatment must be carried out on-site. If you opt for the ex-works assembled version, the sauna will be pre-finished in black and delivered already painted by us ex-works.

Properties and production of thermowood:

During thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. This significantly reduces the wood's ability to absorb water, and wood-destroying fungi and bacteria thus lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood.

The thermowood treatment gives the wood a uniform, brown color, which grays under UV radiation like all other woods. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative glaze.

How is a barrel sauna delivered?

You have the choice to order our barrel saunas as a kit for self-assembly or already fully assembled ex-works.
For both variants, delivery is made by a 40t truck with a forklift. Unloading takes place on-site at the curb.
Please note that we cannot arrange transport into your garden for an already assembled sauna.
We therefore recommend that you arrange for a crane or wheel loader for further transport into your garden.
