Description Gastro Automatic Water Softener
Softer water is much better for appliances that rely on water to operate. Hard water contains minerals that can build up over time, causing limescale deposits and altering the taste of the water. Preventing limescale buildup means less cleaning and a longer lifespan for your professional kitchen equipment. Thanks to this automatic water softener, this is now easily achievable.
Protect yourself from limescale deposits
Tap water often leads to limescale deposits, and depending on where you live and the water hardness, this can become a real problem. All appliances that use water will eventually encounter this. Examples of appliances that can be affected include dishwashers, espresso machines, and combi steamers, which then no longer function optimally and consume more energy. Limescale deposits can also impair the taste of tea and coffee and reduce the effectiveness of detergents in the dishwasher. To counteract this, simply connect a water softener and top up your appliances with salt tablets from time to time to keep them in top condition. You can easily order the salt tablets online.
Easy operation thanks to automatic regeneration
This electric water softener is filled with resin spheres. These convert limescale into sodium, which is harmless to your health and your appliances. After prolonged use, the resin spheres become saturated. Fortunately, this device is self-cleaning. Salt causes the resin spheres to release the accumulated limescale, which is then flushed away with the salt water. This process is called "regeneration." Regeneration is automatic. You simply enter the measured water hardness into the device's display, and the system automatically calculates the most efficient regeneration schedule. The display also shows the number of liters remaining before another regeneration cycle is required.
