Flat, elliptical running movement for joint-friendly running training
The MAXXUS CX 5.1 cross trainer is the ideal full-body workout device for health-conscious recreational athletes who prefer a natural running motion. The flat, elliptical motion has an incline of approximately 18 cm. Combined with a stride length of 54 cm, the CX 5.1 enables a realistic, joint-friendly running motion.
MAXXUS CX 5.1 - Modern cockpit
The backlit LCD display provides a clear overview and easy readability, even in dark rooms. All training metrics at a glance: Displays time, calories burned, distance, total distance, speed in km/h, wheel revolutions per minute, watts**, and pulse or heart rate*.
Bluetooth and APP connection
The cross trainer's cockpit features a Bluetooth connection, allowing you to control the cross trainer with a smartphone or tablet PC using the iconsole+ app. The iconsole+ app is available for free download from Google Play and the App Store for Android and Apple operating systems and is not included in the scope of delivery. The latest Bluetooth version 4.0 is required to connect the cockpit to a smartphone or tablet PC.
The cockpit can of course also be operated comfortably without a smartphone/app, like a normal cross trainer.

Pulse measurement
The ergonomically positioned hand pulse sensors allow you to quickly and comfortably check your current pulse during training.
Heart rate measurement*
The cockpit is already equipped with a POLAR® compatible receiver.
In conjunction with an optionally available uncoded transmitter chest strap, this enables the measurement and display of the current heart rate.
Electronically controlled permanent magnet braking system
The cross trainer is equipped with a friction-free, wear-free, extremely quiet, and extremely smooth permanent magnet brake. The 16 resistance levels can be adjusted electronically via the control panel. The training programs regulate the resistance levels automatically.
Healthy training through healthy posture
Maintaining a healthy posture when training on the cross trainer is especially important, as incorrect posture can lead to joint problems. The cross trainer was designed to mimic the natural running motion as closely as possible. You'll quickly feel comfortable on the machine, and you'll see initial results after just a few sessions. The pedal positions were also designed with ergonomics in mind. Running on the cross trainer is completely natural and relaxed, without bow-leggedness.
Transport rollers and floor level adjustment
Two transport wheels on the front base allow for easy and simple moving of the
Cross trainers in the room. Adjustable feet for floor leveling allow for uneven floors and thus ensure a secure, wobble-free stand.
