The cockpit of the CX 7.8 cross trainer is equipped with the latest Bluetooth technology for use with apps such as Zwift, KinoMap, iC+ Training, and MyHomeFit. Load capacity up to 180 kg
The MAXXUS CX 7.8 cross trainer is designed for maximum loads and is ideal for users up to 180 kg (400 lbs). In addition to a highly durable and torsion-resistant steel frame construction and gym-quality ball bearings, the transitions from the pedal tubes to the drive pulley are equipped with articulated joints that deflect lateral forces from the machine. Whether it's heavy lifting or long and intensive training sessions, the CX 7.8 is up to any challenge.
Perfect distances and secure footing
The CX 7.8's internal pedal spacing, also known as the Q-factor, is 8 cm, ensuring ideal foot and knee spacing during training. The 38 x 15 cm treads feature side edges and anti-slip strips to ensure secure footing. The treads are also equipped with soft pads. These reduce pressure on the soles of the feet and can prevent the feet from falling asleep due to excessive pressure.
Realistic running feeling
The MAXXUS team was supported by running professionals when developing the running motion of the CX 7.8 cross trainer. Together, they developed an elliptical motion that closely resembles the natural running motion. The stride length of 58 cm combined with a stride height of 17 cm allows users from 165 to 210 cm tall to enjoy a realistic and, above all, joint-friendly workout.
4-way adjustable handles
The new innovation from the MAXXUS development team is the CX 7.8's 4-way adjustable additional handlebars. These allow every user, regardless of height or shoulder width, to individually adjust the handlebars using the quick-adjustment system. Alternatively, the handlebar width can be varied from workout to workout to continually provide new training stimuli for the shoulder, arm, and back muscles.
Modern cockpit
The CX 7.8's cockpit is equipped with a crystal-clear LCD display. The backlight ensures optimal visibility even in dark environments. The multifunction display provides at-a-glance information about current training data. Various training programs and training profiles ensure maximum variety.
Operating the cockpit is child's play thanks to the Turn & Push controller, which many people already know from high-quality cars.
Technology that convinces
With a weight of 96 kg, the CX 7.8's flywheel mass is 26 kg. The electronically balanced flywheel alone accounts for 11 kg of this. This ensures a very smooth and balanced workout. The electronically controlled magnetic brake system with 16 resistance levels operates whisper-quietly, provides individually controllable training resistance, and is maintenance-free. The high-quality poly-V grooved belt drive with a gear ratio of 1:10 transfers the training energy to the CX 7.8's drive without loss.
