The PANASONIC AW-UE100 4K UHD PTZ camera with pan/tilt/zoom function supports a variety of IP transmission solutions such as NDI for high bandwidth as well as NDI|HX and Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) for high efficiency.
This new PTZ camera features a newly developed direct-drive motor for smooth pan and tilt movements, offering high installation flexibility and low-noise, high-resolution images. It is ideal for live broadcasts of remote or studio productions in broadcast, performances, corporate events, and sporting events.
The AW-UE100 features a 1/2.5-type 4K MOS sensor for stunning UHD 4K video at 60p/50p and is equipped with a wide range of interfaces including 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, and IP. The exceptionally powerful AW-UE100 can be used in both confined spaces and large venues. A wide-angle lens with a 74.1-degree horizontal viewing angle captures large areas even in limited installation space, and the 24x optical zoom ensures high image quality even at a wide zoom range, enabling recording in large indoor venues.

High-bandwidth NDI transmits 4K video at speeds up to 250 Mbps and Full HD video at up to 100 Mbps, enabling high-quality, low-latency live video transmissions over a single LAN cable. NDI|HX offers high efficiency even in low-bandwidth applications and enables low-bitrate video transmissions. SRT is also supported to ensure stable, high-quality video transmission even in unstable network environments. RTMP/RTMPS enables direct streaming from the camera to live streaming services such as YouTube Live and Facebook Live.

A wide-angle lens with a horizontal viewing angle of 74.1 degrees captures large areas even in limited installation space, and the 24x optical zoom ensures high image quality even at a wide zoom range. This enables recording in large indoor spaces.
In addition to optical image stabilization (OIS), the PTZ camera also features electronic image stabilization (EIS). These can be activated separately, ensuring smooth pan/tilt movement in turbulent environments or when moving on a robotic system such as the Tuning Dolly System or the Panapod elevation unit.
Supports FreeD for setting up AR/VR systems
FreeD control output enables connection to AR/VR systems. This allows camera tracking information (pan/tilt/zoom/focus/iris) to be output along with a synchronization signal, allowing for easy encoder-free system setup.
Uses new mechanical pan/tilt function for improved responsiveness and smoothness
The use of a direct-drive mechanism improves the responsiveness of the pan and tilt functions while ensuring smooth operation. In addition to optical image stabilization (OIS), electronic image stabilization (EIS) has been added for smooth panning. This enables stable video recordings, even on locations where robotics and rail systems are used.
Brand new design
The AW-UE100 has a newly developed and compact housing, weighing only 2.2 kg, which makes it easy to handle and install in different areas, especially when mounted on trusses or ceilings.
The PTZ camera is ready to use: the included mounting plate, cable cover, and power supply simplify installation. The AW-UE100 supports PoE++, allowing power for the camera, control, and video transmission over a single cable.
New direct drive system "Direct Drive"
One of the key new features of the AW-UE100 is the first introduction of the "Direct Drive" direct drive system to the Panasonic PTZ product line. "Direct Drive" opens up additional possibilities for PTZ operation, including lower noise during position changes, faster and more precise movements to preset positions, and a longer service life of the drive system.
4K sensor
The remote camera features a 1/2.5-inch 4K MOS sensor for stunning UHD resolution recordings with more than 1,400 TV lines. The AW-UE100 also allows simultaneous output of various video formats, making it a future-proof camera suitable not only for existing HD workflows but also for ongoing UHD/HD productions and projects. When shooting in darker environments, the new high-sensitivity mode guarantees good image quality even in poor lighting conditions.
New processor and HD CROP cutouts
The AW-UE100 4K PTZ camera features the Venus Engine, a powerful image processor that allows the PTZ camera to respond ultra-fast to increased video processing demands. For example, when combined with Panasonic's auto-tracking software (AW-SF100 or SF200) or with parallel HD crop output. During UHD signal output via 12G-SDI, three preselectable HD crops can be output via 3G-SDI.
