Single cable solution
The AW-UE50 4K PTZ camera supports PoE+, allowing power supply for the camera, control, and video transmission over a single cable.
Direct Drive system
For quiet and smooth camera movements in both vertical and horizontal directions, the AW-UE50 pan-tilt camera features a direct drive system based on Panasonic technology, reducing operating noise to NC25 or less. The direct drive also offers other advantages such as faster, more precise movements and greater accuracy of preset positions, making the AW-UE40 Panasonic's fastest, quietest, and most accurate PTZ camera to date.
Support for online video content
When using the "Virtual USB Driver for PTZ" software in combination with a LAN connection, the UE40's video and audio data can be captured just like a USB camera. The AW-UE40 also features a privacy mode that orients the lens backwards in standby mode.
Improved 4K sensor
The AW-UE50 pan & tilt camera features a new 1/2.5-type 4K MOS sensor for stunning UHD video in true 4K resolution of 1,500 TV lines (UHD). With 3G-SDI, HDMI, and IP support, as well as the ability to output multiple video formats simultaneously, the camera is ideal for existing HD or 4K workflows.
Wide-angle lens
The AW-UE50's new wide-angle lens, with a 74.1-degree viewing angle, captures expansive areas even in limited installation space, and the 24x optical zoom ensures high image quality even at extended zoom ranges. This allows for recording in large indoor spaces. Furthermore, the intelligent zoom achieves 28x and 36x magnification in UHD and Full HD, respectively.
Optical zoom and image stabilization
The PTZ camera features optical image stabilization (OIS) to ensure smooth pan-tilt movement in busy environments or when moving or placed on a robotic system.
New processor
The AW-UE50 features a powerful processor, the Venus Engine, allowing the PTZ camera to respond ultra-fast to increased video processing demands for higher image quality and lower latency.
Analog 4K and HD output
The AW-UE50 supports 4K video up to 25p/30p at 3840 x 2160 output for professional, high-quality motion picture capture, as well as a variety of output options such as 3G-SDI, HDMI, and IP streaming. These can be used simultaneously for HD and 4K productions.
New IP transmission formats NDI|HX and SRT
The camera supports a variety of IP transmission protocols. The Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol, for example, is ready to use and ensures stable, high-quality video transmission even in unstable network environments. Furthermore, secure and reliable video transmission over the public internet is enabled thanks to encryption and automatic detection and retransmission of lost packets.
The AW-UE50 pan-tilt camera also supports NDI|HX version 2 for high efficiency at low bandwidth, available via an optional paid upgrade. This enables low-bitrate video transmission over a single LAN cable. RTMP/RTMPS enables direct streaming from the camera to live streaming services such as YouTube Live and Facebook Live.

A brand-new web interface facilitates professional operation of the advanced user interface (GUI) - even in darker environments.
