The tabletop or slide-in module with controllable, energy-saving ceramic hob (full surface) is used for stepless cooking of food, compatible with GN system – for flexible preparation with the best cooking and grilling results.
For preparation with direct contact heat, in combination with the thermoplates® GN cooking pot made of unique SWISS-PLY multi-layer material for the highest food quality. The material combines aluminum at its core, with up to 10x better conductivity (cold/hot) than pure stainless steel, for significant energy savings during use, with the hygienic advantages of stainless steel. The matching lid variants for keeping food warm and for hygienic protection during serving include the waterproof plug-in lid and the stylish cooking and buffet lid (buffet lid for the tabletop version).
All GN 1/1 varithek® modules are standardized and can therefore be flexibly combined and exchanged, for precise insertion into the AST/EST system carriers or into the varithek® GN port.
