The HSS73 Orbital Mini Sander with iBrid Technology is ideal for sanding wood, composite materials, plaster, and other surfaces in virtually any industry. It features a delta-shaped, multi-hole rubber pad for efficient vacuum, specifically designed for sanding narrow surfaces such as shutters, drawers, chairs, and more, as well as for sanding and preparing interior surfaces in the marine industry.
The innovative iBrid technology, first used in the BigFoot iBrid Nano family and the HLR75 iBrid Mini polisher, allows users to choose the power platform best suited to their specific situation or application. Use the battery for cordless operation or use the iBrid Power Adapter for continuous operation on corded power. Performance is identical regardless of the power source.
The HSS73 also features a self-extraction system that allows the tool to be used without external extraction by connecting the patented RUPES GREEN TECH filter, providing the user with unmatched maneuverability and balance to ensure precise and efficient sanding results.
The variable-speed throttle allows for precise control of the tool, while the speed control ensures five working speeds for versatility and smooth start-up. Optimized ergonomics, a compact design, and modern lines make this tool very comfortable and easy to use in a variety of grip and hand positions.
In addition, RUPES has chosen to apply the innovative Q-MAG Magnetic Technology to the HSS73 iBrid Mini Sander. The magnets replace the rubber guard used on the LE and LS mini sanders, which is designed to prevent the sanding pad from rotating. This motion technology ensures a longer lifespan of the internal components and minimizes wear and maintenance.
BATTERY AND BATTERY CHARGING
The HSS73 uses the same lithium-ion battery as the HLR75 iBrid mini polisher to ensure full compatibility between the tools in the new RUPES iBrid range of mini tools.
The lithium-ion battery cells (18V 2.5Ah) with LED display indicate the charge level at the touch of a button. A full charge allows for between 35 and 45 minutes of continuous operation.
The 9HC180LT battery charger was specifically designed for the iBrid Mini's unique battery pack system. The charging station displays the charge level via integrated LED lights and provides a 100% charge from zero to full in approximately 35 minutes.
