Safety and warning instructions
- Place the device only on a stable, level and ventilated surface.
- The ripening cabinet is intended for indoor use only and should be placed away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat sources.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the specifications on the nameplate.
Children and unauthorized persons must not operate the device or be left unattended nearby.
- This appliance may only be used for the maturation of meat. Mixing different types of maturation, such as meat, cheese, or sausage, can lead to spoilage and hygiene problems.
- During operation, the ventilation openings must not be blocked or covered to avoid overheating.
- The refrigerant is flammable. Care must be taken during transport and installation to ensure that the refrigerant circuit is not damaged.
- In the event of a refrigerant leak, ventilate the room immediately, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and avoid open flames or sparks.
- Repairs may only be carried out by qualified specialists.
- Before cleaning, maintenance or prolonged non-use, switch off the device, disconnect it from the mains power supply and allow it to cool down completely.
- The door should only be opened when necessary, as frequent opening affects the humidity and temperature and can disrupt the ripening process.
The UV light in the device is for air disinfection and should not be viewed directly. The protective devices must not be removed.
- The water tank must be regularly filled with clean water to maintain humidity inside the device. Dirty or contaminated water must not be used.
- There is a risk of injury from falling pieces of meat or hooks – exercise caution when loading and unloading.
- The ripening cabinet is equipped with an automatic defrost function. During these cycles, the components must not be touched as they can become hot.
Dispose of packaging materials safely, as they can pose a choking hazard.
- Regular cleaning of the interior, as well as the meat hooks and racks, is necessary to ensure hygienic conditions.
- In case of visible damage or malfunctions, stop operation immediately and contact qualified personnel.
