The food being cut is held in position on the cutting plate by the food pusher. The carriage moves very smoothly and is equipped with a plexiglass hand guard. The grooved surface on the food stop and the blade cover ensures effortless guidance and easy, safe operation without requiring much force.
Cleaning is quick and easy. After loosening the fastening screws, you can remove the individual parts to be cleaned, clean them, and quickly reinstall them.
Should the knife become dull, sharpen it quickly and easily at the correct angle using the integrated knife sharpener. Loosen the screw and rotate the sharpening stone 180°. After locking it in place, switch on the machine for approximately 1-2 minutes, loosen the sharpening stone, and rotate it back – done!
